SNAP Into Action!
Trump & Secretary Rollins Are Cutting Off Food Assistance for 42 Million Poorest Americans
SNAP Into Action is a statewide effort to help those who are affected by the freezing of benefits due to the Government shut down.
As the Democrats hold firm on their demands that Republicans roll back their attack on health care in America, SNAP benefits will be frozen by many states. This statewide, mutual aid effort aims to bridge the gap of our most vulnerable among us who rely on these benefits to feed themselves and their families. Maine takes care of our own.

Mutual Aid
Mutual aid is people helping people — rooted in care, not charity.
People have been forming mutual aid groups — formal or informal — perhaps since humans have existed.
It is a proven response in times of crisis.
The power of ordinary people collaborating and exchanging resources far exceeds what individuals can achieve alone.
