Hi there, I'm Rachel, founder of Activate Maine. I created AM because I was feeling overwhelmed and lost and like community could help me feel a sense of calm in the storm. I did it because we had no idea who was doing what where and what we could do to help stop it. I want to continue that, to grow our power from within so that we can fight as one voice. It's a pipe dream BUT, I never thought people would find my little calendar or website but here you are. I have such gratitude for the volunteers that help keep things going, for the organizers that make things happen and for this community that gives me that safe feeling that we're all worried we'll never have again.
