He’s using OUR tax dollars to pay for HIS party.
Trump’s made-for-TV 79th birthday farce is expected to cost millions of our tax dollars —while Republicans claim there’s no money for Social Security, SNAP, or Medicaid.
Enough is enough.
On Saturday, June 14, Maine will join the No Kings National Day of Defiance—a coordinated mass mobilization action demanding real democracy, economic justice, and an end to authoritarianism.

While Trump marks his almost-80th birthday with a desperate display of force with tanks, helicopters, and thousands of troops stomping through D.C.—we’ll take to the streets in defiance. We will join with our friends and reject this made-for-camera spectacle that echoes authoritarian regimes and comes at a staggering cost to the public.
From Bangor to Biddeford, Maine communities are rising up.
Whether you're marching in Portland, holding signs in your town square, or amplifying from home with art, calls, or posts—it all matters. Show up how you can.
We’ve got the list of Maine locations so far—and we’ll continue to update our calendar as new actions are confirmed:
Auburn
Augusta
Bridgton
Cherryfield
Ellsworth
Farmington
Freeport
Machias
Millinocket
Portland
Presque Isle
Rumford
South Portland
Waterville

In the meantime: 🗓️ Save the date. 💬 Spread the word.
💗 Take care of yourself. Check on your people.
