Optimizing Operations With Integrated Hospitality Property Management Software In The Modern Era

Modern software often includes features like mobile check-in, real-time reporting, and integration with other guest service tools. This allows staff to focus more on interacting with guests rather than being tied to a desk. Ensuring that the system is user-friendly and secure is vital for its successful implementation and use.

One of the biggest benefits of these systems is the ability to track guest preferences over time. This data allow properties to offer a more personalized experience, such as remembering a guest's favorite room or special dietary requirements. In an industry where service is everything, these small details can make a big difference.

Bangor Act Up

We started a Bangor Act Up in the fall to respond to city policies: we were able to get them to zone a Harm Reduction facility (Needlepoint Sanctuary at 1009 Ohio St. -- a very righteous and politically aware nonprofit). We also got them to back off clearing a homeless encampment, but unfortunately, a railroad company did do the sweep anyway. We hope to educate and prevent the spread of HIV and Hep C, using all the public health outrage we can muster. If you'd like to join our elist, please just send me your email address; I'm at mtnsbluegreen@gmail.com. We are also a chapter of Act Up Nation.

Also, transwomen, specifically, have a very, very elevated transmission rate. A noted epidemiologist at the CDC was studying this and was censored; he quit rather than change his work. (John Weiser, MD). We are hoping to have a teach in about Trans (and BIPOC and unhoused?) health disparities and the suppression of research, as well as the gender affirming care ban and next steps, as in action planning. (The Trans Working Group our of NY is considering taking this on; if they don't, we might organize it out of Maine -- in any event, it will be online to include folks.) If you are interested in this, please let me know.
